Country Roots is built on a strong foundation of 18 years experience in Architecture, garden design and practical experience in the gardening industry. Andrew started the company in 2018 after he and his wife married in Bude and moved to the South West.

After completing his degree in Architecture at Westminster university in 2003 Andrew discovered his passion for gardens and exterior design. He began working for Urban Roots Landscapes, a leading London gardening company and after completing his training Andrew joined the company full time where he built a wealth of experience in gardening and horticultural practise. It wasn’t long before Andrew combined his training in Architecture with his horticultural training to start designing, constructing and maintaining gardens of all shapes and sizes. For the last 10 years Andrew has managed maintenance and construction teams whilst working as the lead garden designer.

Andrew gained such invaluable experience and expertise working with Urban Roots Landscapes it made perfect sense to set up his company Country Roots down in the south west of England. Andrew continues to collaberate with Urban Roots Landscapes on Garden Design projects and has taken their exceptional eye for detail and exquisite design with him to Country Roots.
