FAQ’s

 What Should I Wear?

You need to be comfortable whatever you are wearing so that your clothes don’t restrict you. Line dancing is just like any other form of exercise, the exertion is bound to make you feel hot.

Footwear is quite crucial however. There are many styles of dance shoes / trainers and these are popular with line dancers. Before you decide to buy this type of shoe, you may find that an ‘ordinary’ pair of shoes that you have may be acceptable. They should however have a small heel, slippy sole and grippy heel so that you can move easily on the floor without danger.

Will I Be Able To Learn line Dancing?

So far, we haven’t come across anyone who has found it impossible.

Obviously some people learn quicker than others but they always seem to get there in the end. You don’t have to learn every dance going! and your instructors are aware of individual limitations- the main thing is enjoyment!!

Holidays

Most people enjoy a holiday or break at some time during the year. There is no need to worry about missing a class or trying to ‘catch up’ on the ‘missed’ dances as they are re-taught and ‘walked thru’ for many weeks after the first teach.

What will happen at the class?

We start the class with some basic line dances and have a break roughly half way thru’ the session for a drink / chat and then start again with dances both old and new.

We teach one new dance nearly every week and each week you dance those dances again and add the new one for that day. Gradually your repertoire of dances will increase as will your knowledge of the steps.

The same steps are used in different dances and when you start to recognise them obviously it becomes easier and easier.

Do I Pay In advance?

No!

You pay on a weekly basis as and when you attend. If you can’t make it you don’t have to pay.
